Managed Print Services Connect (Apr 12 2010)

    1. Canon U.S.A., FedEx Office (FXO) and HP today announced an alliance that will bring consumers new printing and imaging capabilities through the implementation of more than 12,000 new Canon and HP printing devices across more than 1,800 FedEx Office locations in the U.S. and Canada beginning in May 2010.

Customers of FedEx Office will find significant advancements in how they print and the quality of the materials from Canon U.S.A. and HP’s hardware and software. Additionally, customers will have options for remote printing using USB drives or smart phones and features that will pave the way for “cloud printing,” which will allow customers to store documents virtually and access them from anywhere that a network connection can be established. By working together to bring more advanced, integrated and environmentally smarter ways of creating, customizing, printing and distributing materials, Canon U.S.A., HP and FedEx Office believe this alliance will transform the retail printing experience.
